Laura Leverenz, PA-C, MPAS

Laura Leverenz, PA-C, MPAS, is a physician’s assistant who earned a bachelor’s in biology from the University of Iowa. After spending several years in the public health sector assisting the broader public, Laura wanted to spend more time helping patients individually. She returned to University of Iowa and earned her master’s in physician assistant studies to accomplish that goal.  

Laura has been a physician’s assistant for 15 years. Before joining Iowa Ear Center, she worked in neurosurgery and pain management, where she developed a commitment to uncovering the root cause of her patients’ health concerns and providing proper treatment. She is certified by the Iowa Physician Assistant Society and the American Academy of Physician Associates.

In her free time, Laura enjoys watching her three kids play sports, including baseball, football, track, basketball, soccer, and karate. Her hobbies include running, yoga, and reading.
